Reflection

PICTURE #1: I went out to the golf course for a walk and I found a pathway. I saw many different flowers along the path so I decided to go take some pictures. The many colours caught my eye. All of a sudden, a butterfly flew around and landed on one of the flowers. The colours of the butterfly were very facinating. It reminded me of peace and calmness and beauty within nature.

PICTURE #2: The second photograph of the flower was very close up and you could even see the moisture on the furry part of the stem. The photo was taken at the side of my house around 7:00 pm. The focus was on the flower, while the grass was blurry.

PICTURE #3: The third picture is of a light on my porch. I had gone outside to check if my dad was home and decided to take a picture of my porch light. It was dark, and the light was very bright. This is a great example of contrast.

PICTURE #4: When I was at my house, I noticed a valentime decoration on the support beam of my house. The spirals that made up the decoration caught my eye. I decided to take a picture from an angle which people don't ususaly view the decoration from; from underneath. The main principle of design used for thisphtotograph is empahasis. The decoration is is in focus because it a bright colour rather than a dull colour like the background.

PICTURE #5: I walked to the forest 3 mins away from my house to take pitures. Then I stumbled upon a pond and found a family of ducklings. The ducklings came towards me and I started to take pictures of them because they facinated me. What I liked most about them was thier delicate appearance. I also found their colourful feathers to be very attractive.
